What type of visuals does your audience need? Who is your audience?
Tone The tone sets the mood of a business letter and should be adjusted according to the target audience. In general, the larger the audience the more formal the presentation should be.
Audience-centered communication focuses on giving readers and listeners information they want rather than just the message you want delivered. You may be writing to members of your organization or you could be writing for clients, customers, or prospective employees.
Why has it been requested? What is their perspectives on the topic, on me, and on the document I will write? If scheduled to speak at PM, a speaker may have to make the speech more entertaining through animation or humor, exhibit more enthusiasm, or otherwise involve the audience in order to keep their attention.
To do so, be sure that these key questions are included in your analysis: Who is the audience?
